John Hollis is a litigation assistant with Girard Gibbs, working directly with clients and assisting attorneys in Consumer Protection, Wage and Hour, and Financial Fraud Litigation. He is a 2007 graduate of Bowdoin College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian Studies and a minor in Economics. During his junior year of college he studied abroad at Irkutskij Gosudarstvennij Universitet in Irkutsk, Russia, working to gain an understanding of Russian culture, history, and language. Prior to his employment with Girard Gibbs, he worked as an AmeriCorps VISTA at the International Rescue Committee, a non-profit organization working internationally to improve the standard of living for refugee populations in over 40 countries.
