Girard Gibbs currently represents employees throughout the country in a variety of lawsuits against large, national companies. Some of our cases are:
- Mitchell v. Acosta: A class action alleging that Acosta does not pay its retail merchandisers for all of their pre-store and post-store work. The case was recently granted collective certification by the District Court for the Central District of California.
- Masco Arbitration: Prevailed before the American Arbitration Association on claims that Masco misclassified its "Account Representatives" as exempt from the wage and overtime requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
