David Stein is a 2007 graduate of the Emory University School of Law, where he was the Executive Notes & Comments Editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal and authored Wrong Problem, Wrong Solution: How Congress Failed the American Consumer, 23 Emory Bankr. Dev. J. 619 (2007). He received his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2003. Before joining Girard Gibbs, Mr. Stein served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Keith Starrett, United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi and to Magistrate Judge Karen L.
